A prominent area of Paramita's research focuses on women's emancipation, feminist perspectives, and the representation of women in literature, particularly in the works and ideas of Rabindranath Tagore. Her scholarly contributions explore the relationship between literature, education, culture, and society, with particular attention to women's agency and their position within changing social structures.

Her publications include Rabindranath Tagore on Education and Women Emancipation (2015), co-authored with Joydeep Banerjee and published in Labyrinth: An International Refereed Journal of Postmodern Studies. This work examines Tagore's literary treatment of women's experiences through a feminist lens. Another significant contribution is Influence of Family, Culture, and Society on Tagore's Literature—Understanding of Modernism and Traditionalism (2015), co-authored with Joydeep Banerjee and published in the International Journal of Advancement in Education and Social Sciences.
